Objectives
Video Projection Mapping is a new method to combine a commons technologies used in entertainment’s field.
Video Mapping is a technique that fit a video on building, object or any complex surface to create amazing optical illusions.
Video Mapping is a technique that fit a video on building, object or any complex surface to create amazing optical illusions.
The course starts with overview of video mapping applications and its possibilities, during the lessons will be provided the tools and skills to realize a video mapping focused on ADV and events.
At the end of course the students will produce a real projection mapping on 3D object.
During the course, students will be supported in practical video mapping through the following stages:
– Billboard mapping: is the technique to map flat surface or images;
– Video 3D mapping with one projector: video projection on 3D solids;
– Video 3D mapping with two or more projectors: video projection on 3D solids with two or more projectors;
– Video 3D mapping with one projector: video projection on 3D solids;
– Video 3D mapping with two or more projectors: video projection on 3D solids with two or more projectors;
In the course of this year (2016), one lesson was dedicated to know the field of interactivity applied to video mapping with Orf Quarenghi (www.orfware.com).
